Macaw Design

specializes in high-end interior design for discerning residential clients and luxury hospitality projects. We design and deliver bespoke solutions that manage every detail, ensuring the final space meets meticulous execution and reflects your unparalleled vision.

I. Concept

1. Vision and Requirements: We have a profound understanding of your vision.

2. Research and Exploration: Our dedicated creative team conducts comprehensive research and exploration to formulate innovative concepts that seamlessly align with your aesthetic and functional objectives.

3. Concept Development: Drawing upon our research findings, we solidify the concept and generate intricate sketches that encapsulate the essence of the design, facilitating the feedback process and requirements, which serve as guiding principles throughout the design.

II. Design Development

1. Technical Drawings: Following the approval of the sketches, our team meticulously crafts comprehensive and precise technical drawings, complete with intricate details and specifications.

2. Physical Model: To offer a tangible representation that enables you to evaluate dimensions, proportions, and overall aesthetics before final production, we create a physical model of the design.

III. Production

1. Material Selection: Collaborating closely with you, we take your preferences, durability criteria, and sustainability objectives into account to choose materials that elevate both the aesthetics and functionality of the design.

2. Production: Once the design and materials are finalized, our team of skilled artisans brings the furniture to life, maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Nimbu Hotel

Located in the exclusive Gulf of Papagayo, this luxurious hotel, Nimbu, is a sanctuary explicitly focused on wellness and relaxation, commanding gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean.

The hotel’s identity is rooted in its environment: its name, Nimbu, means water in the language of the Chorotega, once the most powerful indigenous tribe of northwest Costa Rica. This heritage is thoughtfully integrated throughout the design, from the traditional painted masks in the guest rooms to the ceramic pottery used in the beach club.

Further inspiration is drawn from nature. Details like the beautiful spa pendants mimic the plumage of the scarlet macaw, while the lobby features an elegant relief of the Guanacaste tree, a powerful national symbol. This fusion of cultural depth and natural elegance creates an unparalleled guest experience.

Central Park

The Central Park Residence: This project showcases Macaw Furniture’s commitment to bespoke design in a premium residential setting. Located in Escazú, the apartment features fully customized furnishings designed to complement the expansive views while meeting the client’s specific aesthetic and functional requirements.
